This year marks yet another milestone for Sharon in an incredible career with the Caroba Plastics family of companies. Sharon was born and raised in Monte Vista, CO and she moved to Denver right after high school. Sharon spent many years working for King Soopers before she decided it was time for a change. 35 years ago, Sharon had a neighbor that worked for Caroba Plastics and recommended that she apply.
Sharon came to Caroba as the 7th employee and was part of a small team to keep 6 injection molding machines running. With an eye for detail, cleanliness, and a great work ethic, Sharon quickly became a valued member of the family. She loved this work for 17 years but was then provided with a new opportunity.
In 2005, Sharon was asked to bring her skills to Pozzetta Micro Clean (PMC). PMC is our sister company that provides precision cleanroom cleaning to the semiconductor industry. This is the kind of environment for Sharon’s skills to really shine. Every detail makes all the difference in the world and there was no one better in our family of companies to make sure every procedure was followed exactly. Over the following years Sharon went on to lead a team of cleanroom operators that now meet some of the highest cleanliness and quality standards in the industry.
Over the last 18 years with PMC, Sharon has become the “go to” person for anything and everything to do with cleanroom production. Beyond her work capabilities, Sharon is beloved by all who know her. On a daily basis, Sharon provides sage advice, kind wisdom, and has cemented herself as the Matriarch of the Cleanroom!
Now 35 years in and at the age of 71, there are still no intentions of retiring. She loves what she does and who she works with. The feeling is mutual and we really appreciate what Sharon adds to the culture of our company. Looking forward to many more years!
