2020 Employees of the Year

Congratulations to Nancy V. and Chris W. for earning Employee of the Year awards! When it came time to decide the employee of the year, two people stood out for dedication to their work and for supporting their colleagues during a very turbulent 2020. Nancy is one of our greatest success stories. She started at Caroba Plastics as an operator working at the machines. Now she is an Account Specialist excelling in Customer Service, A/P, Invoicing, Purchasing, and any other project that is given to her. Even more admirable than her great work ethic is her wonderful attitude. Every customer, supplier and employee loves working with Nancy. She is always cheerful and helpful even when circumstances are complicated. We couldn’t have made it through 2020 without Nancy! Chris W. has been with Caroba for 10 years as our Accounting & IT Systems Administrator. Chris has used his knowledge of technology to modernize our HR and Payroll systems which has streamlined our entire HR department. Chris is contacted multiple times per day to handle a myriad of HR and IT issues. Where most people would lose their patience with this kind of work, Chris is willing to drop everything to help. The amount of “behind the scenes” work Chris did this year to keep our business running smoothly during turbulent times was above and beyond. Thank you to Nancy and Chris for representing the qualities that make our family of companies stand out from the rest.
