Natosha 10 year anniversary

Congratulations Natosha – 10 Years!

It’s funny how some careers get started. At a young age, Natosha was sure she was going to be a Neonatal Nurse caring for infants…but along the way she discovered a genuine interest in numbers. With 4 years of bookkeeping experience at the age of 23, Natosha started with Caroba as an Accounting Assistant. Natosha’s attention to detail and the trust she earned by management has led her to become our Lead Accountant, she even earned an Employee of the Year award in 2021.

Accounting is the universal language of business but in the Caroba family of companies, it gets a little more complicated because our accounting department is responsible for all 8 companies and the large number of transactions they create. Each company is in a different industry, with different sets of rules, but our accounting department navigates these complexities to provide reporting that management uses to make crucial decisions for our family of businesses. Natosha is instrumental in completing and delegating accounting functions such as A/R, A/P, Inventory Reconciliation, Payroll, Insurance, Vendor Management, Business Compliance, Taxes, and so much more!

Accounting is a stressful job with constant deadlines that cannot be missed. The never-ending sting of critical activities is best achieved by a team that gets along really well and we are fortunate to have exactly that! Natosha and the entire department have personalities that work well together, and this helps us operate like a well-oiled machine. Natosha has also become a central resource for anyone in our family of companies to get help with accounting functions. Not only does she know the answer, but she is also able to effectively teach the next generation of office and accounting personnel.

We asked Natosha what has kept her at Caroba for all these years and there were a lot of reasons. First would be the accounting team she works with and how much she enjoys working with them. She also appreciates working with great management that allows for flexibility for her family. And while vacations must be planned around “month end” and deadlines don’t care if you are sick, Natosha says she genuinely enjoys coming to work and is honored to have the trust of management to always get the job done!

Congratulations Natosha!
